CIKTN has enjoyed another successful year making your money (as a taxpayer and an industrial investor) go further in advancing chemical technology for all-round better products. The trick is "leveraged" funding for projects and research with clear benefits, appropriate risk of failure and where individuals cannot justify acting alone.
An exciting new initiative, expected in the autumn, is the Centre for Materials Knowledge, drawing on the expertise of Bolton, Liverpool and Manchester Universities and the Daresbury Science Campus offering technology assistance and advice to the chemistry using comminty.
